Description
Owner of Casa d’Arcos, nauEden lda combines accommodation with celebration, art and culture.
The proposal is to gather, share and enhance local knowledge and interaction with artists, gastronomy, spots, amongst others.
Casa d’Arcos the hosting space, the visible face of the project, but we want nauEden to be: Much more than a house!
A B&B with a cozy and detailed atmosphere, an events/meeting room with 100m2, 3.500m2 of green outdoor space with a pool and a vegetable garden to host and share.
We create synergies with other nearby businesses, both in terms of space and business vision, strengthening the community and enriching the visitor experience.
nauEden is a family business and our personnel motivation for me, an architect and research project manager, and my husband, a radio
communicator!
We would like to develop our business with a model that is coherent with our surroundings, taking part in it besides profiting from the opportunities that it provides us. We believe this is the future for tourism and an opportunity to further develop local rural communities wile embracing the visitor with a real and new experience in a different place for him.
We would appreciate the exchange of knowledge and experience with the creative and data experts from this program.
Also, we are very interested in the mentioned “targeted connection with actors of the creative industries and digital players/data scientists
for possible pilot projects”. Creating a strong network of players would allow us to develop an offer, specially of the cultural branch, which is
very dear to us.
Also, following on my previous experience as research projects manager, we have always considered the participation in pilot projects and
profiting from data analysis to be very appealing.
We can’t deny that funding is always very appealing, specially for a new business, but also the possibility to learn, profit from and share
experience in a sustainable touristic model, with accent culture, community and heritage.
