Description
Eco Verticale is a company that has created a new tourist reception project in the Barisano stone in Matera, combining two structures that
already shared some common spaces, as per the tradition of the neighborhood: “Ai terrazzini” and “Fra i Sassi residence”.
From this union a widespread residence is born which proposes a new way of temporarily inhabiting the city.
Echo is the sound dimension that characterizes the Sassi of Matera and the residence. The special conformation of the territory acts as a
sounding board creating an impalpable but lively space of voices and neighborhoods, of guests who communicate with each other without
necessarily being available nearby.
All this while respecting the nature of the Sassi, the unmistakable architecture of Matera, and thus creating a sustainable project for the
city. Our starting point in conceiving the project is that beauty is accessible, to everyone, in a vertical way.
Ours is an extensive proposal, which includes exclusive suites, family rooms, the cave experience and the hostel. Our space is pure
conviviality and for this reason we go further, through the proposals for residents, events, artistic residencies, team building for
companies, small residential moments for people who share passions.
Vertical is not only the structure of the residence but a way of imagining the future of our city: evolving towards new and high
perspectives of shared livability.
Our residence has also proudly obtained the “ECOLABEL” certification which, for us, is not a proof to be presented to the customer but the
daily goal we achieve in remaining as sustainable as possible. To create a path for artistic dialogue starting from our data. We are
interested into work with energy data, water data between past and future, architecture data look into the heritage.
