The project participant: Club Silencio
Name of the project: In Situ “Baracca n°4”
What’s the heart of your pilot in Collab 4 HySust CCI?
The heart of the In SItu “Baracca n°4” project is to use art as a tool to unite the youth in the Aurora district of Turin, engaging them in a collaborative process that enhances the urban and social context while creating a piece that represents the area.
What’s something you’re really proud of achieving so far (with your project inside Collab 4 HySUST CCI)?
We are particularly proud to have had the opportunity to create an authentic project that has successfully engaged the youth of the Aurora district in a participatory journey. This project has fostered an environment that promotes not only art but also social cohesion and a strong sense of belonging.
Where do you see your project heading next?
We hope to carry out more projects like this, as the strong response we’ve received from the public confirms that we’re on the right path. This positive feedback motivates us to continue using art as a way to build connections and social inclusion.
What do you think is the most valuable thing that the Collab 4 HySUST project has brought to you?
The most valuable thing has been the opportunity to build a network of support and collaboration with other creative organizations, enriching the project with new perspectives. Additionally, it was a pleasure to work with Mercedes, a professional in the field who has given us so much both professionally and personally.
From your experience participating in the Collab 4 Hy Sust CCI project, what advice would you give to organizations similar to yours?
I would recommend making the most of the networking and collaboration opportunities offered by programs like Collab 4 HySUST CCI, as they are essential for expanding the impact of your work and for sharing resources and knowledge.
Would you like to add something?
We are pleased to have created a project we believe in deeply, and even more so to have accomplished it in the neighborhood where we live and operate. This experience has made the project even more meaningful and for the community that has been part of it.
