Description
I’m a new Public relations from the company which is a Turaventur, Lda. a microenterprise based in Évora (ECC 2027) – Alentejo, Portugal – that mainly offers cycling and walking tours to tourists, teambuilding activities and accommodation at a rural tourism hotel.
As we continue to grow, we are facing challenges with the manual processes (which include a combination of excel sheets) we use for managing client requests, bookings, services, and our own material and inventory management. We are seeking to invest in an integrated platform service that will streamline our operations and allow us to provide a better customer experience and internal organization. Our main challenges include these manual processes for managing client requests and bookings, which are time-consuming and prone to errors.
Besides the several organization gaps, we also lack a comprehensive system for managing our customer and partner data, which makes it
difficult to provide personalized services and targeted and automated marketing and campaigning. An integrated system could be a great
solution for these problems.
To fully implement this type of system and new processes, the team would also need to have training and an adaptation period to be engaged in it. This proposed solution is innovative at a point that it will allow us to digitalize our operations and leverage technology to improve our business processes and customer service.
By implementing this system and process in the company, we expect to see significant improvements in our business operations including increased efficiency, where our staff will be more focused on the client and less on the procedures and will help us to increase revenue, profitability, and ultimately achieve the business goals.
Our digitalization challenge is to transition from using manual processes, such as Excel sheets, to a comprehensive digital and integrated platform that can efficiently manage client requests and tour preparation.
Our project will have a significant positive impact on our company’s internal operations, client relations, online presence, and products/services. Internally, the new digital platform will streamline our operations, allowing us to manage client requests and bookings more efficiently.
