An open call for MAKERS EXCHANGE RESIDENCIES has been launched by Craft Hub – a European project co-funded by the Creative Europe Programme focusing on Craft in the context of cultural heritage and its continuing relevance in contemporary practice.
The project activities involve investigating and documenting craft skills and processes; their differing application in creative practice across Europe; and questions of cultural specificity & individual motivations of practitioners.
The residencies provide an opportunity to increase the transnational mobility of Craft Practitioners within and beyond the partner countries to develop skills that allow them to expand their scope, skills, and knowledge for the creation of Craft.
Participate! The deadline is 30 June 2021.

Very interesting and very much in line with a number of initiatives EC has promoted to support Craft professionals and Makers to develop new competences through p2p schemes and mobilities. One example of a similar initiative is the MakersExchange project funded by Creative Europe
