Description
Head of the data topic and data warehouse architect with a focus on open data, distributed computing solutions and open source applications. He successfully implemented data from the “humanities” into commercial solutions.
Using publicly available open data, we will create a prototype of a simple GIS application that will allow to create and personalize the tourist experience. At the same time, it will provide data that will allow the customer or tourism organization to choose the most optimal route based on the selected criteria. The application will contain data from the Košice region in the QGIS environment using freely available WMS servers. Our goal is to provide the professional public with a tool for efficient planning and cost reduction while maintaining the greatest possible tourist experience.
